My work focuses on a sense of place, combining words, image and structure to explore landscapes and seascapes.  I often return to the theme of exploring "blue space" - being anywhere on or by water inspires me and makes me happy.

I love all things papery and experiment with combining my print making and other techniques to create unique content for my Artists' Books.  I enjoy matching and varying the structure of books to enhance the content and message.

I like to incorporate paper ephemera into my work, often using upcycled materials or old maps and nautical charts as my paper for printing and for making books.  I like their interaction with printing techniques and ink, as well as other methods of mark making such as stitch. 

As a printmaker, I particularly enjoy collagraphs, wood engraving, lino cut and screen printing.  I am a bit obsessed with Letterpress! 

I am a Book artist and Print maker. 

Achievements include:

• Two works shortlisted for the Scottish Landscape Awards 2023.
• Selected to show at Fruitmarket Gallery Artists’ Book Fair and at Borders Art Fair (2023, 2024 and 2025).  Selected to show at Bristol Book Arts Event 2024.
• Books & prints acquired by Bodleian Library, Edinburgh College of Art, Bath Spa University, National Library of Scotland, Edinburgh Central Library and Edinburgh College as well as private collectors (including commissions).
• Work displayed & sold by Upright Gallery (Edinburgh) and at Society of Bookbinders events.  Work included in exhibitions at the Bodleian Library, Bath Spa University, University of York, Maggs Bros., Visual Arts Scotland, Society Scottish Artists, Turn the Page Book Arts fair, Hugo Burge Foundation Open Studios and in a group exhibition with SE Scotland Printmakers and Book Artists.
• Artists’ residency at Hugo Burge Foundation sponsored by Borders Arts Fair (2021).
• Commissioned by Museums Northumberland to create an artwork for the Union Chain Bridge time capsule, representing ideas from public consultation events (2021).  Residency at Hugo Burge Foundation to make the piece.
• VACMA grant from East Lothian Council (2022) to develop use of photography in my books.
