I am professional contemporary Scottish artist - working full time for the past 34 years. I have exhibited worldwide throughout my career, in solo and group exhibitions.

my work has received a number of awards, most notably a major Artists Grant from The Pollock Krasner Foundation, New York in 1996.

I work in a variety of mixed media , primarily acrylic paints and collage.

I am currently working on new paintings for my next solo exhibition - with The Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh next April.

I was born in Dundee, Scotland in 1962 and brought up in the Highland village of Kingussie.

I attended Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee from 1982 to 1987 - leaving with a BA Honours degree in Painting along with a Post Grduate Diploma.

I then became a full time artist based in Glasgow. 

In 1991 I moved to Düsseldorf for 4 years - to continue my art practice and exhibit in Germany.

In 1995 I returned to Scotland and have been based in Stonehaven since then.
