Glasgow based artist graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2021. My expressions towards life is the fundamental idea behind all my works. Whether is my despair wailing to the meaningless of life, or questioning the way of living. Life itself is the thing I obsessed the most. For me, art is the language of my show. It allows me to escape from the limitation of words we used in daily life. Both consciousness and unconsciousness within me are unity on my canvas. They speak for themselves with elements, colour and each brush strokes.

For me, art is the language of my show. As a medium, it not only allows me to escape from the limitation of words we used in daily life, but also “liberated” different backgrounds’ viewers from the restrained of language. Similar to music, art stands between human being’s mind and word explanation.

I no longer need to relinquish the “unimportant part” of my chaotic mind. I can now unravel the real me, the complicated me, the incomprehensible me that I won’t be able to fully understand or describe with words. An emerging artist who was born in China and has studied abroad for a decade. Currently living and working in the UK.

Mainly focusing on the exploration of life. Heavily influenced by philosophy or psychology ideas. Through the years, the topic has developed from investigating the sentimental and sensibility side of human beings in today’s society, to seeking for the meaning of life: the realisation of “what are we living for?” decides our path and allows individuals to live sincerely for themselves without regrets. 

Interested in conveying emotions and ideas through dramatic, but still realistic set up. Focusing on story telling by resonating with audiences’ emotion.
